At Faith Church, we're centered around our mission. In everything we do, we want to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. This is what we strive for. This is why we're here.

Our mission is about two key things: Making Disciples and Transforming the world.

What does it mean to make disciples?

Being a Christian means that you are like a little Christ. This is an important idea because it means that in all we do and all we are, we should reflect Christ. This is what we want to do for others. To make disciples means to make little Christs. We want to equip Christians with the tools to go out and live like Christ's example and be a light onto the world. So, making disciples is providing times of worship, service, giving, and growth. And that's what Faith Church is all about. We want to worship, serve, give and grow so that we may become more like Christ and eventually give that gift to others.

How does Faith Church make disciples?

Faith Church is making disciples in two main ways. The first is by providing opportunities for people to grow in their faith and to live out their faith. Through things like Bible Studies, worship, and mission work, Faith Church is making disciples through spiritual growth. Secondly, Faith Church is equipping leaders so that they may go out and do as Christ did and lead others towards God. Through our future leaders, we are ensuring that the church of the future can continue to live up to our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

What does it mean to transform the world?

You could say a lot of things transform the world, from great leaders to the right resources at the right time. At Faith Church, we believe that Jesus is the one thing that can truly change the world. It is in our pursuit of Him that we start living better lives and influencing the people, and the world, around us. So, this means that the real way we can transform the world is to become more like Jesus. If we live what He said and do what He told us to do, then we would love people in new ways that we can't fathom. We would work together for the kingdom and do amazing things together. This is what we want to see, and this is what we strive for. This is what it means to transform the world.

How does Faith Church transform the world?

Wow. This is a hard question to answer. Not because it is hard to come up with something, but really because there's so much to talk about. Faith Church is at the center of caring for others. From programs such as the Noah's Ark Day Care Center - which provides day care services at prices which make it affordable for lower income families to afford child care - to Harbor House Crisis Shelter - a homeless shelter and transitional living center for single women and families - all the way to the Faith Church Food Pantry - which distributes food to the community every week - Faith Church is truly making a difference in the lives of many people. But Faith Church also ministers to the spiritual needs of many others. From Nursing Home visits to hospital visits and just plain ol' preaching, Faith Church is transforming the world, one life at a time.
